At Belgrade Fashion Week Aleksandra Lalic’s show was all smooth lines and earthy colours, a subtle mix of contemporary style and traditional references. Looks experimented with volume and structure, producing silhouettes that felt unique and bold but which still had a wearable appeal. Lalic’s was one of the few mixed gender catwalks at Belgrade Fashion Week and the male models provided contrast to the smooth feminine theme although still dressed with the same off centre angles and elongated lines. Quietly creative, the collection was full of pieces that could be easily worn straight off the catwalk. We loved the softly structured dresses and coats, as well as the excellent printed socks.
