Boo Pala SS18 London Fashion Week
Turkish designer Boo Pala draws inspiration from the beauty of imperfection, celebrating all the tiny differences that make us unique. Colour is a big theme for this designer and the SS18 collection at Fashion Scout was all punchy scarlets, jades, oranges and blushes – with some smooth denim and all-white pieces thrown in for balance.
There were prints that we loved – a multi colour polka dot and delicate doodles, plus bold red coat hangers – and multi coloured stripes appeared more than once. Silhouettes ranged from oriental style shirtdresses, through to exaggerated, structured tops and simple cropped tailoring. We loved the cropped pants worn with tucked in tee or overlaid elaborate shirts. The looks had an intriguing quality to them that created a desire to see more.
