Say It All As You Walk Away - Decorative Heels Trend
Hey you there, yes you strutting down the street in your Louis Vuitton Kusama dot pumps - do you think that just because you can’t see your heels that they’re not important? Do you think it’s all about the toes? Well think again lady because the only way to make your statement this autumn is as you walk away.
Decorative heels are big this season, whether it’s studs, spikes, prints, crystal, Perspex or precious metals, and this trend goes with just about everything, from cosy winter tights to bare legs and a (faux) fur. This must be one of the most easy to achieve 2012 autumn trends and is bringing the back of your ones and twos bang into the spotlight – there’s no excuse for a plain, dull footwear derrière this season. If you’re feeling creative then you can fashion your own from some leather glue and assorted embellishments. But if, like us, you’ll just end up sticking your hair to the shoe then take a look at the above safer retail options instead.
