Sometimes fashion feels like a struggle between aesthetic and ethics and nowhere is that more apparent than the use of fur. So, when a label comes along that proves fashion can be innovative and cool, without being cruel, it's a lightbulb moment. This is one of the reasons that we love Krasimira Stoyneva, a designer who has proven just how much texture, impact and movement you can create without touching a single hair on a mink's back.

Krasimira is a University of East London graduate and the label she created is a relatively new arrival, launching in 2014. For those who love a dramatic aesthetic and striking style it's the perfect new brand to explore. The designer's innovative approach to textiles is what has created such a unique look - using synthetic hair, dyed and cut, to fashion layers, volume and singular silhouettes. If there's another label doing this right now we haven't found it.

This commitment to synthetic textures has been behind the creation of the #wearhairnotfur campaign that Krasimira is using to promote the use of synthetic hair. "My aim is to make an ultimate luxury alternative of fur by using synthetic hair," she says, "Using hair allows me to create endless possibilities of colour and texture varieties in my garments. It gives it stand out shout and incredible luxury feel."
